This organization, founded in March 2023, shall be known as Krewe de LA-Tex. It operates as a non-stock, non-profit entity located in Lake Charles, Louisiana. These bylaws are established under the Louisiana Non-Profit Corporation Act and have been approved by the Louisiana Secretary of State. Krewe de LA-Tex functions as a DBA under A LIFE BRAND NEW HOME, Inc.
KDLT is dedicated to participating in social activities centered around the Louisiana Mardi Gras tradition while also fostering meaningful volunteerism and community engagement. KDLT proudly hosts cross-border events to honor Louisiana Mardi Gras culture, creating inclusive experiences for Louisiana natives living in Texas.
